This project is a four acre modular housing complex which was designed as an integration with the landscape and is located in Gwadar, Balochistan. The structure takes maximum cues and inspiration from the landscape, and its frames capture exemplary ocean views.
The different masses of the complex are arranged at different heights to maximize the user’s sensory experience where the functional spaces are connected to each other via courtyards.
The materiality of the sea-front complex’s building materiality was chosen based on site, to ensure durability against the corrosive qualities of the wind and air around the sea.
