The building, located in Nathiagali, on top of a hill surrounded by a steep terrain. The Design focuses on providing a soothing harmony between architecture and its natural environment. The hotel is partially inserted into the slope of the hill, and offers a varying experience, depending on one's point of view. The hotel is read from the North as low to the ground (five storeys high), and as continuity to its surrounding landscape the complex opens up towards the South, where the building on the lower slope is higher at seven storeys. The form itself is designed to use the sunlight to get to all the spaces. The sunny south side exposed completely, as well as positioning the pool area to the sun. This reduces the need for immense amount of artificial heating. Balconies as transitional spaces; wraparound balconies form recesses upwards, allowing maximum sunlight and 360 degree views. Providing state-of-the-art leisure facilities for the tourists the resort is packed with features that are unique in the region.
