A new development proposed on the 6.55 acres of land, that translates the original ideas of this parcel of land, that translates the original ideas of this parcel of land as an architecturally beautiful place of entertainment and arts, adding to the program high end residential and serviced apartments and offices, encased in lush green spaces planted with Shah Blot trees, as gathering spaces for the residences and office dwellers, a respite from the concrete jungle; and for the people using the Mall building a large raised piazza, as a gathering space. The museum would have picture and arête facts of the Landsowne trust. On the roof would be the gardens and roof top terraces. The idea is that when shoppers want to enjoy the roof top dining experience, they can take any of the many lifts and escalators, but in doing so, they pass by the library and museum, ensuring football and visual interest by just passing by this beautiful space. Additionally, a library and museum is proposed on the top floor of the complex. The library draws on the initial idea of the trustees, translated as the crown of the building, integrated with a museum (owing to the large footprint of the complex). So, the concept is, instead of bringing together shoppers, the Mall complex aims to bring together a culture.
