Located in the university and school sector H11 of Islamabad, this building has an ambitious program on a small footprint. The building has a total of twelve floors, the lower five of which house the school and the top floors have the university. Between the two sections is the double auditorium floor. The form of the building evolves from the sun direction. Getting north light to every class was the goal in designing the building to optimize classroom visibility and learning. The classroom windows are all angled to the north, forming a very angular modern concrete form. The architecture then draws inspiration from historic schools and colleges, the column and arches of brick forming the forming the ground and first floor of the building, from which rises a stark modern angular concrete form.
